You’ve decided you and your employee need to part ways, but you’re not sure how to do it in a way that you both walk away happy (Read: NOT BITTER AND LITIGOUS).

You’ve just got to downsize.  This pandemic has taken its toll on your business and you need to downsize and regroup without the added pressure of meeting payroll. It happens, but you care about your employees. You’ve already negotiated the availability and entitlement to a severance package with the employee in their employment contract or through their labor agreement.
